"You dropped something"

My friend was walking out of a bookstore near Piccadilly yesterday and was stopped by a woman. The woman said she dropped something back at the book store. My friend went back to the book store to find a gentleman standing there. He told her she didn't drop anything, but that he thought she was pretty and just wanted to talk to her. He then offered his phone number. She didn't take his phone number and told him she was not interested. 

I was happy to hear about the story, but wish she would have gotten his number so I could interview him about how he came about using this as I want to use it for my project. 

Clever man nonetheless.
